Our Albert Jacket is a unique piece: It’s insulated, but still super lightweight. Stuffed with Primaloft insulation, it’s a hardshell jacket that packs down small and light, so you can carry it with you everywhere.
We’re not the only ones who think the Albert is extra special. Elevation Outdoors recently awarded the Albert Jacket their Peak Gear Award. “It kept out those vicious Eldora wind gusts and stayed dry thanks to sealed construction, but the insulation was never overkill,” writes Elevation Outdoors’ contributor Aaron Bible. “Big pit zips mean we didn’t have to take it off when we hiked, and we appreciated the hood that actually fit a helmet. It’s all we want in a jacket.”
Mountain Magazine also just included the Albert Jacket in a round-up of killer resort wear. “It’s temping to ski in a puffy down coat on toe-blackening days, but eventually you’ll shred it on a snag,” says Mountain Magazine. “The Albert Jacket is rugged for tree skiing, but there’s Primaloft insulation inside. All that, and it’s stuffable enough for your backcountry pack.”
