Xander Guldman is a 24 year old skier based out of Truckee California. Xander started competing in freeride events at ten years old, which sparked his love for the mountains and community that define his sport. He attended high school at Sugar Bowl Academy where he was able to place 1st overall in 2015 and 2nd overall in the 2016 IFSA North American Jr series. While in college at UC Davis, Xander spent his weekends ski touring and taking resort laps with friends where he found inspiration amongst the granite boulders and juniper trees of donner summit. After this brief hiatus from competitive skiing, he returned to the FWQ circuit in 2022 and placed 2nd overall to qualify for the Freeride World Tour. Alongside two top ten finishes on the FWT, Xander is filming for Matchstick Productions and Head Skis for their films coming out in Fall of 2023. When he isn’t skiing, you can find Xander working as a whitewater raft guide on the Tuolumne River with ARTA river trips.
