    We designed the Crowe Jacket as an insulating, hooded midlayer you can move in easily. It’s warm, but not bulky or sweltering. The tightly-woven exterior Pertex® Quantum fabric is soft and light and is designed to improve the efficiency of the insulation. Stuffed with 60 grams of PrimaLoft® Silver Insulation Active, this layer lets heat and moisture escape like smoke out of a chimney. It’s coated in a Durable Water Repellent, so you can wear the Crowe Jacket on its own, but it also layers well under a shell for cold days at the resort. It’s light, packable, and technical enough to be your everyday driver.

    The Crowe Jacket Features
    Pertex Quantum
    What good is down insulation inside a jacket if the exterior fabric isn’t doing anything in support? Pertex Quantum is like the insulation’s maid of honor—it’s there to make sure all the pieces fall into place. This tightly woven exterior fabric, constructed from fine yarns, has a light, soft feel that allows the insulation to fully loft. It traps still air to improve the warmth and efficiency of the insulating layer, and it’s coated with a DWR to dispel wind, rain, and snow.

    PrimaLoft® Silver Insulation utilizes a proprietary water repellent finish to keep you warm when wet. A comfortable loft and feel provides warmth, while super-lightweight properties allow freedom of movement for whatever your day may deliver. Excellent packability frees up space for other gear. All these features combine to keep you in the sweet spot of comfort all day long.

    You spend much of your time on a skintrack in search of good snow, and this gear is designed to handle windy summits, spring tours, and long days in the mountains. Fabric choices are made to offer lightweight breathability and air permeability for high-output activities, like bootpacking a couloir. But if there's powder at the ski resort, you'll be there, and this gear can handle all-day liftline laps, too.
