Mexico’s Baja peninsula is home to some of the most barren and remote terrain in the Northern Hemisphere. What it lacks in amenities, however, is more than made up for by miles of beautiful coastline, pristine waves, bountiful fish and uncharted ridgelines. For two long- time friends, Cody Wilkins and George VanDercook, it’s also a place where their respective passions of mountain biking and fly fishing have a unique opportunity to overlap. Along with the rest of the Los Locos fishing crew and fellow mountain biker Alex Chay, they take to the water in search of off-shore lines to ride and massive marlin to wrangle.
In this part of the world, almost nothing, other than a cold beer at the end of the day, comes easily, and through hardscrabble adventure and misadventure this motley crew hopes to find never before ridden terrain and experience marlin exploding into chaotic top water action.
