You’ll wear the Alva Hoody as a midlayer while skiing. That’s what we designed it for. But you’ll also wear this comfy, stretchy hoody everywhere else: around town, on brisk summer days, while cooking pancakes in your van. It’s made from a blend of fabrics, including technical polyester and Tencel, which comes from the wood pulp of trees. Cool, huh? Pull up the hood and you’ll feel like you’re in your own little tree house.

Furano Fleece
Our proprietary Furano Fleece, by Intuitive, looks all comfy and soft, but it’s way tougher than your average teddy bear. It’s got a smooth-faced surface that blocks wind and a grid backing that adds warmth. Because it’s coated in a PFC-free Durable Water Repellent, you can wear it on its own as an exterior layer or layer it under a shell for extra insulation.
drirelease®
drirelease® technology is an engineered blend of synthetic and natural fibers that speed up the water release rate of the fabric, meaning sweat or wetness gets pushed out before you even knew it was there. The end result? Moisture-wicking, quick-drying fabric that feels soft and natural, without any added chemical treatment. The hydrophobic, or water repelling, nature of this fabric lasts forever and doesn’t fade with extended wear or washings.
