The extra-tough Magnum Pant has a long, 7/8ths-length outer zipper (as well as an inner thigh vent), enabling you to get in and out of these pants without taking off your ski boots, a trick people like ski racers, ski patrollers, and hut trippers drying out their gear midday will appreciate. It's made of a burly hardshell for maximum durability. We updated the fabric on the Magnum to our Surface 3 Layer (see fabric description below). Surface is our most durable fabric and is our bread and butter used in other products like Baker Bib and Chemical. It adds durability to the Magnum while retaining excellent breathability and mobility.

Fit and Sizing

Regular: A traditionally cut fit that sits comfortably and true to size. Not too baggy; not too tight. Right down the middle. This standard fit allows for plenty of maneuverability in a classic, everyday shape for daily life and active missions.

The Magnum Pant Features
Surface 2L and 3L
Do this for a minute: Put on your ski jacket or pants and go step in the shower. If you’re wearing a Flylow piece made with Surface 2-layer or 3-layer hardshell fabric by Intuitive, you’ll watch the water bead up on the surface and slide right off. This burly, 150-Denier oxford weave, coated with a Durable Water Repellent, is designed to keep you warm and dry and have a tough but smooth feel. A nylon tricot on the backing protects the membrane and wicks moisture away from your body.
PFC-Free
PFCs, or perfluorocarbons, are found in chemicals often used in Durable Water Repellent (or DWR), and once released into the environment, those chemicals are no good. Instead of harmful PFCs, we’re using a friendlier, bio-based treatment that will still keep your fabric dry in a storm but is kinder to you and our planet.
