Quiconque a pensé que les vêtements de ski pour enfants devraient être moins techniques ou moins imperméables et respirants que ceux des adultes n'a manifestement pas passé de temps avec un enfant dans les montagnes. Les enfants sont constamment dans la neige. Ils ont chaud, puis ils ont froid. Ils cassent tout. La veste Explorer est notre hommage aux jeunes groms qui méritent des vêtements d'extérieur de haute qualité, extra-durables et imperméables-respirants. Aucun détail n'a été négligé : elle a des poches qui peuvent réellement contenir des choses, une capuche qui se met par-dessus un casque, une fine couche d'isolation, et suffisamment de longévité pour durer à travers d'innombrables vêtements de seconde main. (Pour mémoire : tester les équipements pour enfants nécessite beaucoup de oursons en gélatine et de crème fouettée. Mais nous avons accompli la tâche grâce à une équipe exceptionnelle de mini-shredders hyper enthousiastes et prêts à sauter.)

Don't worry, we still offer ample venting and fabrics that release heat and moisture when you warm up, so if you want to take a hike or go for a ski tour, you won't overheat.

Surface 2L and 3L
Do this for a minute: Put on your ski jacket or pants and go step in the shower. If you’re wearing a Flylow piece made with Surface 2-layer or 3-layer hardshell fabric by Intuitive, you’ll watch the water bead up on the surface and slide right off. This burly, 150-Denier oxford weave, coated with a Durable Water Repellent, is designed to keep you warm and dry and have a tough but smooth feel. A nylon tricot on the backing protects the membrane and wicks moisture away from your body.
PFC-Free
PFCs, or perfluorocarbons, are found in chemicals often used in Durable Water Repellent (or DWR), and once released into the environment, those chemicals are no good. Instead of harmful PFCs, we’re using a friendlier, bio-based treatment that will still keep your fabric dry in a storm but is kinder to you and our planet.
