It's that time of year when magazines and websites roll out gear guides to help you make informed decisions to stock up on the best-in-test gear for the winter ahead. Here's what the press is saying about some of our new gear.
Baker Bibs
The Baker Bibs got an editor's choice award for best bibs from The Inertia: "They’re the type of bibs that can be used and abused for multiple seasons, only to wear in, not wear out," the review says. "This winter, they’re also available in a GORE-TEX ePE construction for lighter weight and improved breathability, a great choice if you see yourself making it out into the backcountry more than a few times a season."
"Why the Baker Bibs dominate the ski bib game." —The Inertia
Chemical Pants
We've had the Chemical Pant in the lineup for a long time, but every year, we make updates and tweaks to improve even our most classic, beloved items. The Gear Junkie's Bergen Tjossem reviewed a pair of this year's Chemical Pants over the course of three months last winter. He says they felt like "leg armor." "These burly hardshell pants tick almost all the boxes for a stellar pair of ski pants," he wrote. "In addition to being genuinely burly, the Chemical pants scored high for most qualities. That’s perhaps no surprise: Flylow’s first product, a pair of ski pants, came out over 20 years ago. Since then, they’ve been tinkering with design, materials, and details."

Super D Gloves

Gear Junkie named the Super D Gloves among the best gloves of the year. "The exterior leather is treated with a DWR in addition to a 10K/10K waterproof-breathable liner, so it was no wonder these gloves kept our hands dry. We also really love the generous nose-wipe patch. The smooth suede spans from the thumb’s tip to the basal joint and wraps all the way around the thumb pad," the review reads.
"They're ultra comfy right out of the box." —Gear Junkie
Roswell Jacket
We don't tend to specify what activities you can or cannot do in our gear: Feel free to ski, snowboard, telemark, snowblade, Nordic ski, whatever calls to you. But Gear Junkie named our Roswell Jacket the best insulated jacket for snowboarders. "All considered, we love pulling on the Roswell for lift-served laps, especially in cold midwinter conditions," the review reads.
"A solid contender for blustery conditions." —Gear Junkie

Dante Gore-Tex Jacket
Here's what Newschoolers had to say about our new Dante Gore-Tex Jacket: "Flylow’s Dante Jacket is everything a shell jacket for resort days should be. Since last year, Flylow has upgraded its 2L jacket to Gore-Tex, yet it remains soft and supple. With a freeride fit, the jacket moves easily and provides plenty of room. The jacket’s pit zips offer plenty of ventilation for hiking to sidecountry spots, as does the jacket’s breathable 2L Gore-Tex membrane."
