Details

For the light and tough Goodson Short, we took a stretchy, lightweight fabric and added a streamlined, low-profile waistband that won’t slip. Wear over a chamois for the trail or on its own for a beer and a burger. The custom MTB-ready fabric deflects branches while swerving forested singletrack, dries quickly, and stays put no matter where you are on the trail. The fabric feels light and breathable for long climbs and has stretch for mobility. You’ll get a mid-length 11.5-inch inseam and plenty of coverage for bombing the descent, plus zippered thigh pockets that can store your phone and a low-profile, no-bulk zipper fly with snap closure. It’s treated with a PFAS-free Durable Water Repellent.

MTB Stretch IQ
MTB Stretch IQ has the tough textile resiliency you’ve come to rely on but with a touch more stretch for comfort and mobility. Made from a nylon-spandex blend, this is the fabric we put in pieces like our more lightweight, streamlined mountain bike shorts. It dries quickly when you sweat or pedal through rain, thanks to a PFC-Free DWR finish, and it’s got 40+ UPF for sun protection.
PFC-Free
PFCs, or perfluorocarbons, are found in chemicals often used in Durable Water Repellent (or DWR), and once released into the environment, those chemicals are no good. Instead of harmful PFCs, we’re using a friendlier, bio-based treatment that will still keep your fabric dry in a storm but is kinder to you and our planet.

This product is equipped with 40+ UPF technology to protect your skin from the sun’s powerful rays. That means this garment will keep out around 97 percent of those UVAs and UVBs. You can now soak up the sun on the trail or water and come home with summer memories instead of a sunburn.
