This waterproof, insulating piece has dense, warm down throughout, paired with an indestructible 10k/10k fabric for waterproof protection, and critically-placed seams. The Cold Down Jacket is what you want for extra-cold days when going inside isn’t an option. Big interior side pocket store spare goggles and underarm vents give you a window to the world.

The Colt Down Jacket Features
Specter 2L
Picture this: You’re storm skiing in Jackson Hole and you found this sweet little stash in the trees. Then the arm of your coat snags a branch. Don’t fret. The day is not over because you’re wearing a coat made with Intuitive’s Specter two-layer, 40-Denier hardshell fabric, a tough ripstop material that’s built to withstand invaders like tree branches and ski poles. With waterproofing at 20k/15k, it’s built like mountaineering gear but designed for the resort.
Stark 2L and 3L
We call this the workhorse fabric. The Stark 2L and 3L by Intuitive is a solid weave that has durability but no fussy extras. In gear made from this 120-Denier fabric, you’ll get a smooth touch and 10k/10k waterproof ratings, making it a great option for riding lifts in any weather. The 3-layer Stark has a jersey backing that pulls away moisture and adds warmth.
PFC-Free
PFCs, or perfluorocarbons, are found in chemicals often used in Durable Water Repellent (or DWR), and once released into the environment, those chemicals are no good. Instead of harmful PFCs, we’re using a friendlier, bio-based treatment that will still keep your fabric dry in a storm but is kinder to you and our planet.

Responsible Down Standard, or RDS, means every feather used in our 800- or 600-fill down insulation has been third-party certified for safety standards, ensuring that all geese and ducks are raised by certified farms that meet the highest levels of animal welfare compliance and supply chain traceability.
