Made with our customized Intuitive PHD Stretch 3L fabric, the Kane Jacket prioritizes breathability and waterproofing for high-motion activities like backcountry skiing and the variable weather and temperatures that come with that. This supremely lightweight jacket is stretchy, supple, and tough, which is critical when you’re trying to kickturn in tight trees or stuff the jacket into your already-jammed backcountry pack. It takes the durability and packability of a 3-layer ski jacket but without any unnecessary extras (powder skirt … why bother?). It’s got underarm vents, a helmet-compatible hood, no shoulder seams to reduce friction while wearing a pack, and ample pockets.

PFCs, or perfluorocarbons, are found in chemicals often used in Durable Water Repellent (or DWR), and once released into the environment, those chemicals are no good. Instead of harmful PFCs, we’re using a friendlier, bio-based treatment that will still keep your fabric dry in a storm but is kinder to you and our planet.
