A couple of decades ago, we made a retro-looking insulated vest and named it after the heli pilot character from Magnum, P.I., a tough guy who went by TC. Our original TC Vest was equally tough, but not exactly packable. We’ve learned a lot over the years since, so when we decided to bring back the TC Vest, we made it modern: compressible and lightweight for the backcountry but with enough throwback charm to wear over a flannel on a night out. It’s got a streamlined collarless design, ultralight insulation, and simple snap buttons.

Fit and Sizing

Regular: A traditionally cut fit that sits comfortably and true to size. Not too baggy; not too tight. Right down the middle. This standard fit allows for plenty of maneuverability in a classic, everyday shape for daily life and active missions.

  • Model in Black is 6'2" 170 lbs, 32" waist and is wearing a size Large.
  • Model in Blu is 6'3" 175 lbs, 34" waist and is wearing a size Large.

The TC Vest Features
PFC-Free
PFCs, or perfluorocarbons, are found in chemicals often used in Durable Water Repellent (or DWR), and once released into the environment, those chemicals are no good. Instead of harmful PFCs, we’re using a friendlier, bio-based treatment that will still keep your fabric dry in a storm but is kinder to you and our planet.
100% Recycled
Without compromising performance, this product is now made from fabrics spun from repurposed plastics, saving waste from the landfill while keeping you warm and dry. 100% of the polyester in this product is recycled fabric.
10-DENIER PERTEX 
A fully recycled, insanely lightweight ripstop that packs down small and is coated with PFAS-DWR for ultimate weather protection.
AIRFLAKE INSULATION
A super packable, washable, ethical alternative to down made from recycled materials.
