You’ve likely spotted the Foxy Bib in a liftline or on a skintrack near you. These are widely adored, worn by a loyal following of lady shredders. The Foxy is flattering and functional, an all-star bib made with recycled Tactic 3-layer softshell and packed with technical features. It has all the features you need: stretchy, waterproof breathable fabric, a kangaroo chest pouch for storing chapstick or snacks, and generous thigh vents for spring tours. A perfectly-placed thigh pocket stashes your phone. Inside tip: Unzip the long side vent and peel back the seat for an easy-peasy way to use the backcountry ladies’ room.

New this year we’ve updated all women’s bottoms to numeric sizing. Our thinking was simple; we want to give you even more options to allow you to hone in on your best fit. Please review the size and fit section below for more specific fit information.

Form Fit Slim Regular Relaxed

Slim: This athletic styling offers a low-profile, contoured fit so that no extra bulk gets in the way. With ample stretch to retain mobility, this fit offers a slender and streamlined design for layering and on-the-go activities. 

  • The Foxy is a trim, straight leg fit. In our recent fit session we had models who were sized 2/4, 6/8, 10/12. All model sizes felt being at the top end of their range was best. From our 6/8 sized model: "Feel like the smaller size is flattering and figure hugging but would want the 8 for mobility". Our sample size is a 6 so all models are wearing a 6 in photos. Be aware all reviews were written with S, M, L, XL sizing and we're in a new era.

The Foxy Bib Features
50/50 Inbounds/Out-Of-Bounds
Conditions dependent, you split your time pretty evenly between the ski resort and the backcountry, which means you need gear that's tough and waterproof enough for the pounding of tram laps and storm skiing inbounds but won't sweat out on a climb on those days you decide to earn your turns. Here, we opt for fabrics and features that do double duty, like jacket powder skirts you can zip out or bib pants made for versatile pursuits.

The Foxy Bib Features
Tactic 3L Softshell
Nobody wants a fabric that’s so stiff and unbending that you can’t bootpack up a couloir in thigh-deep snow or bend over to buckle your boots. The Tactic 3L by Intuitive is a stretchy, supple 100-Denier softshell that moves with you on the mountain. Think ultra-waterproof but with pliable mobility for high-output activities. A jersey backing keeps it soft and warm.
PFC-Free
PFCs, or perfluorocarbons, are found in chemicals often used in Durable Water Repellent (or DWR), and once released into the environment, those chemicals are no good. Instead of harmful PFCs, we’re using a friendlier, bio-based treatment that will still keep your fabric dry in a storm but is kinder to you and our planet.
