Designed with input from Flylow athletes, this ultra-tough utility vest was inspired by ski patrollers and built for big-mountain competitors who need to carry the essentials—like a shovel and probe—but don’t want to wear a bulky backpack. With the Scotty Comp Vest, you can load a chairlift easily and tote all the gear you need. It comes with nine pockets for stashing everything from your cell phone to your hydration system and has air-circulating mesh and smart zippers to air out on a climb. We built it using upcycled scrap fabric leftover from our ski pant production, so it’s tough and utilitarian.

Form Fit Slim Regular Relaxed

Regular: A traditionally cut fit that sits comfortably and true to size. Not too baggy; not too tight. Right down the middle. This standard fit allows for plenty of maneuverability in a classic, everyday shape for daily life and active missions.

If you traditionally wear a size Medium or smaller, get the S/M. If you wear a Large or Larger, get the L/XL

We designed the Scotty Comp Vest to be worn over your jacket, so it fits loose enough to be layered atop a shell and midlayer. It has a number of fit adjustments for you to customize fit.

80/20 Backcountry/Resort

You spend much of your time on a skintrack in search of good snow, and this gear is designed to handle windy summits, spring tours, and long days in the mountains. Fabric choices are made to offer lightweight breathability and air permeability for high-output activities, like bootpacking a couloir. But if there's powder at the ski resort, you'll be there, and this gear can handle all-day liftline laps, too.

Patrol 2L

Mountain utility is a phrase we use a lot. The Patrol 2L fabric by Intuitive pretty much sums up what that means: This functional, durable fabric is built for rugged mountain environments where snow, sleet, and sweat are all part of the equation. This is a burly 2-layer fabric made with a Dobby weave for abrasion resistance and waterproofness.

PFC-Free

PFCs, or perfluorocarbons, are found in chemicals often used in Durable Water Repellent (or DWR), and once released into the environment, those chemicals are no good. Instead of harmful PFCs, we’re using a friendlier, bio-based treatment that will still keep your fabric dry in a storm but is kinder to you and our planet.
