Owen Smith is a skier and filmmaker born and raised in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Introduced to skiing and the outdoors at a young age, he grew up immersed in a community of professional skiers and filmmakers that heavily influenced his path.
Being surrounded by local athletes and mentors pushed Owen both creatively and physically. Watching ski films growing up sparked his interest in storytelling, and over time he became just as comfortable behind the camera as he is in front of it.
He’s currently on a gap year, traveling and exploring what interests him most. Being in new places is a major driver for Owen, and his focus is on creating while skiing various areas around the world.
