It’s a powder day and the skiing will be good until last chair. Which means you need a jacket that’ll keep you warm and dry all day long. The Freya has a stormproof, durable feel that’s not heavy or weighted down, thanks to GORE-TEX’s ePE membrane, which is thin and breathable but also strong. This two-layer jacket is lined with a light layer of body-mapped fleece, adding just a touch of warmth where you need it without causing you to overheat on a bootpack. That means you can think less about your layering system and more about which line you’re going to ski next.

PFCs, or perfluorocarbons, are found in chemicals often used in Durable Water Repellent (or DWR), and once released into the environment, those chemicals are no good.
