The durable MTB-ready Goodson 2 in 1 Short is made with a stretchy, lightweight fabric that’s treated with Durable Water Repellent. The fabric feels light and breathable for long climbs and has stretch for mobility. It’s got a mid-length 12.5-inch inseam and is built with a streamlined, low-profile waistband that won’t slip when you’re on your bike, as well as zippered thigh pockets to store your phone and a low-profile fly with no metal hardware, just a Velcro closure. This two-in-one version of the Goodson comes with our built-in, silkweight Cru MTB liner short for added protection without bulk.

Form Fit Slim Regular Relaxed

Regular Fit: A traditionally cut fit that sits comfortably and true to size. Not too baggy; not too tight. Right down the middle. This standard fit allows for plenty of maneuverability in a classic, everyday shape for daily life and active missions.

  • These are running about a half size large in the waist. If you're in between sizes, size down.
  • Model in Black is 6'0", 175 lbs and is wearing a 32.
  • Model in Shadow is 6'1", 195 lbs. and has on the 34.

The Goodson Short 2... Features
MTB IQ
All of our fabrics are designed to withstand the rigors of the mountains and the abuse you put your gear through when you’re riding mountain bikes. But the moisture-wicking MTB IQ is particularly tough. Sticks and stones don’t stand a chance here. A breathability factor and 40+ UPF keeps you cool on hot days, and the eco-friendly PFC-free DWR treatment makes it quick drying, too.
PFC-Free
PFCs, or perfluorocarbons, are found in chemicals often used in Durable Water Repellent (or DWR), and once released into the environment, those chemicals are no good. Instead of harmful PFCs, we’re using a friendlier, bio-based treatment that will still keep your fabric dry in a storm but is kinder to you and our planet.
Like sunscreen, not all garments are created equal when it comes to sun protection. Some fabrics still let the sun in and don’t completely block those harmful rays. This product is equipped with 40+ UPF technology to protect your skin from the sun’s powerful rays. That means this garment will keep out around 97 percent of those UVAs and UVBs. You can now soak up the sun on the trail or water and come home with summer memories instead of a sunburn.
