This premium coat is uniquely suited to handle the harshest of storms, thanks to supremely waterproof and lightweight down insulation lined inside a packable, ultra-breathable Intuitive PHD hardshell exterior. In short, this is a warm down jacket that won’t wet out or overheat. Large underarm vents enable cooling and a removable hood and zip-out powder skirt give you plenty of options.

Regular: A traditionally cut fit that sits comfortably and true to size. Not too baggy; not too tight. Right down the middle. This standard fit allows for plenty of maneuverability in a classic, everyday shape for daily life and active missions.

Order to the size chart specs and you'll be good. This is a super warm coat so it's not really designed for a ton of layering underneath.

Pertex Quantum

What good is down insulation inside a jacket if the exterior fabric isn’t doing anything in support? Pertex Quantum is like the insulation’s maid of honor—it’s there to make sure all the pieces fall into place. This tightly woven exterior fabric, constructed from fine yarns, has a light, soft feel that allows the insulation to fully loft. It traps still air to improve the warmth and efficiency of the insulating layer, and it’s coated with a DWR to dispel wind, rain, and snow.

Responsible Down Standard Certified

Responsible Down Standard, or RDS, means every feather used in our 800- or 600-fill down insulation has been third-party certified for safety standards, ensuring that all geese and ducks are raised by certified farms that meet the highest levels of animal welfare compliance and supply chain traceability.

EMPEL

A super-hydrophobic exterior surface treatment that offers enhanced waterproofing and breathability and is certified PFA/PFC free.

PHD

For high-output activities that demand stretch and mobility, this three-layer fabric is made from 100 percent recycled nylon.
