Rainbreaker Wins Peak Gear Award in Elevation Outdoors

Ah, summer. Long days, plenty of sunshine. Having the right summer gear just makes everything more fun. Which is why we loved reading through Elevation Outdoor's June 2018 roundup of this summer's best gear, called their Peak Gear Awards. You'll find the best climbing shoe, sleeping bag, hiking boot, and more.

In fact, they named Flylow's Rainbreaker Jacket the best shell of the summer. We're honored. Here's what the magazine had to say about the Rainbreaker.

Flylow Rainbreaker

Why It Won: Don’t let the super-thin 20D ultralight fabric fool you, this ultralight jacket can withstand a surprising amount of precipitation. While it’s not our primary rain gear, it’s perfect for Colorado and Utah adventures when you want that extra layer you hope you don’t need but are stoked to have when the skies open up. It also works well as a wind shell.

Where We Took It: Robbers Roost Canyon in Utah for a week. Front Range hikes. Backpacking for the season.
