They’re active shorts, made from a slightly stretchy nylon-spandex blend that’s light and quick-drying, but they’ve got the look of your favorite jean cut-offs, thanks to rear pockets and denim-inspired design. They come in a standard fit or a high-waisted option, depending on your preference.

SIZE & FIT
Form Fit Slim Regular Relaxed

Regular Fit: A traditionally cut fit that sits comfortably and true to size. Not too baggy; not too tight. Right down the middle. This standard fit allows for plenty of maneuverability in a classic, everyday shape for daily life and active missions.

  • We've updated the sizing this year to numeric sizing. Past seasons, and the reviews, were based on alpha sizing. We felt going to numeric sizes provided a more precise fit and the feedback we've gotten from friends, family, and customers is that the new sizes are true to the size chart.
  • Model in Shadow, Redwood, and Chai is 5'6" 120 lbs with a 26" waist and is wearing a 4.
  • Model in Cactus is 5'7" 125 lbs and is also wearing a 4. She said a 6 also fit with a bit more room in the waist.

Intuitive IQ is a 97 percent nylon, 3 percent spandex blend that’s abrasion resistant to fight off stray branches and quick-drying in case of a sudden sweat. The subtle stretchiness is enough to convince you that you can do yoga in this fabric, even if you’ve never done yoga in your life. The durable and quick-drying nature of this 50+ UPF fabric make it suitable for active or relaxed pursuits.
Like sunscreen, not all garments are created equal when it comes to sun protection. Some fabrics still let the sun in and don’t completely block those harmful rays. This product is equipped with a maximum 50+ UPF technology to protect your skin from the sun’s powerful rays. That means this garment will keep out over 98 percent of those UVAs and UVBs. You can now soak up the sun on the trail or water and come home with summer memories instead of a sunburn.
