Flylow athlete Lars Chickering-Ayers is featured in a story on ESPN.com today, written by Griffin Post. A few years ago, Lars decided he wanted to make a better system for alpine touring bindings, one that could climb like a Dynafit but charge downhill like an alpine rig. So he created Cast Touring, started hand-buidling binding plates in his garage, and launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise money. This fall, the Si&I binding system, named after Lars' younger brother and fellow Freeride World Tour competitor Silas, will officially be available for purchase. Check out the whole story!
