Designed with input from Flylow athletes, this ultra-tough utility vest was inspired by ski patrollers and built for big-mountain competitors who need to carry the essentials—like a shovel and probe—but don’t want to wear a bulky backpack. With the Scotty Comp Vest, you can load a chairlift easily and tote all the gear you need. It comes with nine pockets for stashing everything from your cell phone to your hydration system and has air-circulating mesh and smart zippers to air out on a climb. We built it using upcycled scrap fabric left over from our ski pant production, so it’s tough and breathable, too.

We designed the Scotty Comp Vest to be worn over your jacket, so it fits loose enough to be layered atop a shell and midlayer.

You spend much of your time on a skintrack in search of good snow, and this gear is designed to handle windy summits, spring tours, and long days in the mountains. But if there's powder at the ski resort, you'll be there, and this gear can handle all-day liftline laps, too.

The Patrol 2L fabric by Intuitive pretty much sums up what that means: This functional, durable fabric is built for rugged mountain environments where snow, sleet, and sweat are all part of the equation. This is a burly 2-layer fabric made with a Dobby weave for abrasion resistance and waterproofness.

High Performance DWR

We dare you to go stand in a shower or the next rainstorm with your favorite Flylow jacket on. See how the water molecules roll off the shell fabric? That’s due to our high-performance Durable Water Repellent, a polymer coating added to fabric that makes it hydrophobic, meaning moisture beads up and rolls off, like marbles on glass.
