Season 2 of Peaks and Passages is Here

Season 2 of Peaks and Passages is Here

This new video series celebrates the one-of-a-kind characters charting their own way in the mountains.

Everybody who spends time in the mountains has to make choices and sacrifices to make their lifestyle work for them. There’s no easy road to becoming a skier—or staying one. In the video series “Peak and Passages,” out now with season two, we celebrate some of the unique, hard-working characters who’ve charted their own path to owning their time. These are the rule breakers, the risk takers, the thought leaders who make us think: Maybe we can do our own thing, too.

This season of “Peaks and Passages,” which is created by KGB Productions and supported by Flylow, is back with three storylines and sets of characters, some you may know and others you may not. In episode one, we get to know the next generation of the Rahlves family, skiing alongside Olympic downhiller Daron Rahlves and his teenage kids, Miley and Drey, at home at Palisades Tahoe, in California. In episode two, we meet professor shred Brennan Lagasse, an educator and guide based in Lake Tahoe who introduces us to the wonders of Mount Rose, an equal access backcountry and inbounds area on the eastern shores of Lake Tahoe. And in episode three, we learn about the sport of skijoring through the eyes of Faith Hamlin, a Jackson Hole Freeride team skier who hails from a ranching family in Wyoming.

The people featured in this film series come from different backgrounds and interests, but they share a common goal of doing whatever it takes to spend the time we are given doing what brings them joy. It’ll require peaks and valleys, long passages of time and huge doses of hard work, but it’ll all be worth it. This is “Peaks and Passages.”
