Hello! My name is Ross Tester and I was born and raised in Truckee, California. Growing up in a mountain town, I feel very lucky to have been introduced to all the awesome outdoor sports and recreation the Tahoe area had to offer. Ever since I was young, my life has revolved around activities like mountain biking, hiking, trail running, and most of all, skiing. The Tahoe area has never been short of great influences in the ski world. Between reading Squallywood, watching classic ski movies from the area, and getting to see the legends of the sport in real life, I was able to find inspiration everywhere. I came up through the team at Palisades Tahoe with the goal of making it on the Freeride World Tour and filming ski segments. Fast forward to now, I've done 3 years on the FWT (and qualified for a 4th..), graduated from the University of Utah with a communications degree, and have made a few showings in major ski films. I'm looking forward to what life brings next and to keeping the good times rolling.
