One of the earliest gear testers and supporters of Flylow from day one, Eben Mond is the people’s skier and one of our longest-standing and most devoted athletes. He’s the guy who came up with our brand slogan Own Your Time, because he’s so good at doing exactly that. Eben is hands-down the best skier at Loveland, in Colorado (but don’t tell his buddies, Mark and Doug, that we said that). A FIS-level ski racer in his youth growing up in the flatlands of Iowa, Eben moved to Colorado and got into telemark big-mountain competitions and worked many jobs across the ski industry. He’s appeared in countless ski films and on the pages of ski magazines for decades now. These days, he’s more into raising up the next generation of freeskiers. He and his wife, Darcee, built a backcountry hut called the Raven’s Nest and they founded and run the Loveland Freeride Team.
