Silas and Lars Chickering - Ayers/ Cast Touring
The Chickering-Ayers brother grew up skiing on the east coast at Mad River Glen, where their parents met and dad was the ski patrol director. They transitioned to the west by travelling and competing on the Freeskiing World Tour and Freeride World Tour before settling in Teton Valley, Idaho. Lars and Silas founded and continue to run operations at Cast Touring in Driggs, which has now grown to become a full capacity machine shop, manufacturing every freeriders dream binding. They now spend their winters sledding and touring in the Tetons and surrounding ranges with the occasional days still spent banging hardpack and skiing pow at Teton Village.
