Brennan Lagasse is an educator, writer, and ski guide living on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe. In between his travels, he enjoys spending as much time as possible touring in his home range of the Sierra Nevada. When Brennan isn’t on personal ski missions, he’s spreading his knowledge of the backcountry by guiding all over the world. He guides human-powered ski trips annually to Alaska, Antarctica, Greenland, and the Himalaya. He pioneered the new helicopter touring program in Cordova, Alaska, where they set up temporary camps and fly clients in to tour out of the hut. Back home, he fights to protect wild places and works closely with the Tahoe Backcountry Alliance and the Winter Wildlands Alliance to advocate for access to the outdoors and the protection of public lands. He has written for publications like Powder Magazine and he helped launched the backcountry snow journal Ascent.
