Rose Grant grew up in Rural Northwest Montana where she spent her childhood exploring the mountains with her parents and four brothers. Although, both athletic and competitive, Rose didn’t find her athletic calling until her late 20’s when she returned to Montana with her husband and found cross country mountain biking while recovering from a running injury. Rose turned pro the same year she also became pregnant with her daughter, Layla, now 8 yrs. Rose advanced quickly in the sport and has accumulated 5 National Championship titles, earned a spot on team USA for 4 World Championship teams as well as the 2016 US Olympic Long Team, and currently holds the Leadville 100 MTB Title. Currently, Rose races for the Juliana / SRAM Pro Team, and she is transitioning primarily to longer domestic mountain bike and gravel races. Rose opts to stay in Montana during the winter where she both Alpine and Nordic Skies, often with her daughter, and in the summer Rose is sure to fit in as much family rafting, camping, hiking, and lake days as her schedule permits.
