Rose Grant is a five-time Mountain Bike Marathon National Champion, a four-time World Championship National Team member, and two-time winner of the Leadville 100 MTB. She grew up in rural northwest Montana, where she spent her childhood exploring the mountains with her parents and four brothers. Although, both athletic and competitive, Rose didn’t find her athletic calling until her late 20s when she returned to Montana with her husband and found cross country mountain biking while recovering from a running injury. Rose turned pro the same year she also became pregnant with her daughter, Layla.
Rose advanced quickly in the sport, racking up wins in major races and championships. In the winter, you can find Rose alpine and Nordic skiing around Montana, often with her daughter, and in the summer, Rose spends as much time as she can rafting, camping, and hiking. In 2022, Rose announced her retirement from professional cycling to focus on her family and coaching.
