I am a 22 year old skier from Tahoe City currently attending college at the University of California, Davis. I started skiing at two years old, and as a youngster, I skied on the teams at Palisades Tahoe. At 9 years old, I began venturing into the backcountry with the guidance of my father, Robb Gaffney. By 15, I had skied most of the major mountains around Tahoe, many in the Eastern Sierra, and multiple 14,000 peaks throughout California. At the moment, I attend school during the week and make time on the weekends for resort and backcountry skiing around Tahoe.
