Bennett Balogh was born and raised in Jackson, Wyoming, and splits his time between Jackson and Park City, Utah. Growing up in the shadows of world-class mountains, he was introduced to skiing at an early age, quickly discovering his passion for freestyle skiing. “Living in places like Jackson and Park City, surrounded by incredible athletes and stunning terrain, has always driven me to push myself further,” Bennett says.
Bennett began his journey in grassroots events, including local USASA competitions and the Wednesday Night Lights rail jam in Jackson. Over the past five years, Bennett has steadily climbed the competitive ranks, earning podium finishes in the FIS NorAm Cup. Bennett now competes at the highest level in halfpipe skiing in the World Cup circuit.
Beyond skiing, Bennett’s dedication to academics helped him graduate early, earning college credits along the way. He has since deferred his enrollment at Westminster University to focus fully on his skiing career.
In addition to Flylow Gear, Bennett is also sponsored by Monster Army, Marker Dalbello Volkl, and Zipline Poles. “I’m grateful for all the support and experiences so far, and I’m excited to keep pushing myself and see what the future holds,” he says.
